Writing the Final Scene

After a lot of work on my novel, I’m now writing the final scene. Wish me luck!

  1. For me, writing the first and last scene of the book are always the hardest. In the beginning, you want to capture the reader’s attention and make them want to read more without giving away too much. At the end, you want to resolve all of your lingering plots and subplots, so the reader can close the book with a feeling of satisfaction. It’s hard work!

    Good luck!

  2. Thank you, all. It is done. Drafted. It’s a big amazing book with a strange ending… It just needs some cleaning up and it will be sent in to the committee. And then, the slow “sending out for publication process” begins.
