I got some very pleasant news the other day. My short story, “My Arctic Circle,” about a man, a wife, a fridge and a fox, is going to be published by Manhattanville College’s Inkwell. I think it will be included in the autumn issue.
This is particularly happy for me as the story has been through many competitions, and has done great things for me (it was part of my writing sample to PhD programmes), but was until now unpublished. Now the fox can escape into readers’ eyes.
More good news soon–I have something else stored up, but am waiting until the formal email comes in.
